Pixel Pet Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Pixel Pet is a Chrome extension: a virtual pet that lives in your toolbar. This policy explains what data it uses and why. In short: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and nothing about you or your browsing is collected or sold.

What stays in your browser

Your pet (its name, stats, age and accessories), your gift eggs, daycare status and adoption-queue ticket are saved in Chrome's own extension storage. If you are signed in to Chrome with sync turned on, Chrome syncs this data across your devices through your Google account, under Google's privacy policy. We can't see it.

What goes to the Pixel Pet egg server

Eggs are issued by a small server so that each egg code is unique and hatches only once. It receives:

The server never receives your browsing history, the pages you visit, your email address or any other personal details.

Hosting

The egg server runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes requests to deliver the service, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent or share your data with anyone, and we don't use it for advertising.

How long data is kept

Egg and pet records are kept while the service runs, because egg codes must stay valid. To have your records deleted, email us with your pet's egg code (shown in the share menu) and we will remove them.

Children

Pixel Pet is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
